Deep snake plate

Snake plate with slightly higher edges.

My drawings of snakes are so simplified, that they can refer to any type of snake. However this collection is inspired by and dedicated to Palestine Viper (Daboia palaestinae). This species endemic to Levant region symbolises the land and its enduring identity. Palestine Viper (Daboia palaestinae) was declared Israel's national snake in 2018.

Handmade ceramic plate decorated by underglaze and glazen in trasparent glaze. Made in a studio in Prague. Each plate has slightly different handpainted snake.
